No War With North Korea!

#talkdontnuke

Rally with Cleveland Peace Action and other local groups us on Veterans’ Day, Saturday, November 11, 2017 at Cleveland’s Public Square, 12 Noon.

Whereas:
* Threatening the use of nuclear weapons is reckless and dangerous
* Any U.S. military action risks the deaths of millions of North and South Koreans
* Diplomacy and negotiation are the only safe path forward

Call to Action:

We call on President Trump to stop all provocative threats and begin engaging with the North Korean regime.

We call on Congress to pass the Restricting First Use of Nuclear Weapons Act of 2017, (S.200/H.R.669), which would eliminate any President’s unilateral authority to launch a first-strike nuclear weapon.

We support the successful Iran Nuclear Agreement, a result of patient negotiation, and oppose any efforts by the President and Congress to abandon it.

We support the recently passed U.N. Nuclear Weapon Ban Treaty and commit ourselves to the ultimate elimination of nuclear weapons from this Earth.

We’ll send the event flyer soon.  If you’d like to help, email
